The O*NET Online Program is the nation's primary source of occupational information. This website is widely used by students, researchers, job seekers, workforce development and HR professionals to understand the rapidly changing nature of work and how it impacts the workforce and U.S. economy. Detailed descriptions help students to learn about required knowledge, tasks, and education in each career. O*NET Online also provides data on medium wages and employment trends.
Students can take the O*NET Interest Profile to find out what their current interests are and how they relate to the world of work.This Interest Profile consists of 60 questions about work activities that some people do on their jobs. There are no right or wrong answers and no time limit.
The results of the O*NET Interest Profile identifies top interests and provides a list of related careers to help start the career exploration process.
