Welcome to Rocklin Academy Gateway, a community with a common focus… student learning! To achieve great student success, we have dedicated, passionate and highly-qualified teachers and staff who strive to empower students to excel in education. We focus on rigorous and supportive academic instruction while ensuring the social, emotional and developmental needs of all students. The collaborative work of our staff, parent community, and students highlights the uniqueness of our school. Our parents are valued members of our school community and together we are proud of cultivating life-long learning in our students.

The heart of our educational program is the Core Knowledge curriculum.  Through rich and specific curriculum, our students achieve academic excellence that is not only engaging but is enduring throughout their time at our Rocklin Academy TK-12 schools. Core Knowledge and Common Core standards contribute to interactive lessons developed around core concepts of learning that are solid in building knowledge year upon year.  Our instruction includes innovative learning through technology using iPads and Chromebooks in the classroom. Many of our classrooms are also equipped with Apple TVs which give students additional access to varied ways of learning.

Our Core Knowledge curriculum encompasses all educational core subjects but reaches beyond to include an education in music and art.  The arts curriculum connects with the Core Knowledge sequence making the curriculum cohesive across content areas. Our students are fortunate to have access to such a rigorous, comprehensive, and balanced education!

Rocklin Academy Gateway is built on the foundation of solidarity between students, parents, and staff.  At the center of this model are the students.  Our school site offers students, Tk-8th grade, the opportunity to build character, learn leadership skills, and become engaged citizens at our school site.  We offer activities for students to become leaders and to develop their character by learning how to be Respectful, Responsible and Resourceful members of a school community.  It will be an amazing year, and we are thrilled to be a part of it!  Go Gators!
