Hello! My name is Jennifer Cronkrite and I am thrilled to be part of Rocklin Academy Family of Schools. The 2018-2019 school year will serve as my 21st year as an elementary educator. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching kindergarten, both third and fourth grades, as well as served as a Reading Specialist. I obtained a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Language Arts, along with a Reading Specialist Credential, from California State University, San Bernardino.
My husband and I take great pride in raising our 13-year-old daughter, who is beginning eighth grade. As a family, we enjoy being out in nature, walking, hiking, fishing, swimming, camping, playing board games, and traveling. In addition, we share a love for music, movies, and the arts, as well as relaxing with other family members and friends. Shopping and socializing are a couple of my personal favorite past times, too.
I am a very humorous person and, therefore, aim to make learning fun for my students. I work hard to bring out the best in each child, and serve my students and families with distinction, encouragement, and support. Truly, it is an honor and a privilege to work with the public and devote my talents to our greatest investments – children! As much as I teach them, it never ceases to amaze me at how much I learn in the process.
Whether I am lucky enough to have your child in class this school year, or in years to come, please feel free to introduce yourself. On a personal note, I am very down to earth and love building relationships with others. Walt Disney once said, “Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children.” Let’s work together and educate our youth so we can all share a better tomorrow. Go Gators!
