Hello! I am Mrs. Rodriguez and I am SO excited to be teaching another year at Rocklin Academy Gateway. This will be my 7th year of teaching, six of those years have been teaching first grade. I taught for 3 years in the state of Washington and this will be my fourth year teaching in Rocklin. I grew up in Rocklin and played soccer at William Jessup University where I also received my degree and credential. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, reading, drinking coffee, working out, and volunteering at my husband’s work. I also started a Master’s program this past year in Curriculum and Instruction so, I spend a lot of time at Peets or Philz doing school work!
I have fallen in love with the curriculum we use at Rocklin Academy to meet the first grade standards, and I can’t wait to share that love with your students this year. I believe in all students and that all students have the ability to achieve their personal best. I have a passion for engaging students in interactive and meaningful academics while creating a classroom culture of kindness and respect. I can’t wait for another year at Rocklin Academy Gateway!
