Class Registration

Student Schedules Released:
Class schedules will be available in PowerSchool on Monday, August 3rd. If you are a returning student, you already have PowerSchool access. If you are a new student, login information will be sent to the parent(s) email from the district office by the end of day, Tuesday, August 4th.
If you believe there needs to be a class change, please have your student fill out and submit the Course Change Form by Monday, August 21st. Your counselor will review your student’s information. Please note schedule changes due to preferences are not available at this time due to class size limits.

*Please note that the periods you are scheduled for may change between August 3 and Monday, August 10th. Shifts in periods and teachers may need to occur to balance schedules.
 
New Student Orientation:
We will have Zoom orientations for our 7th and 8th graders on Wednesday, August 11th at 12:30pm. Information on how to access this virtual orientation will be sent later via email.

Dear Students and Parents / Guardians,

We are excited to let you know that class registration for the 2020-21 school year is just around the corner. The first step in the process is to make sure the School Mint account has been updated with whether or not the student will be returning to Gateway. The last day to update the account is January 31st. You can contact Donna Walsh, Admissions Technician at dwalsh@rocklinacademy.org for more information.

The next big step is to complete your class selection sheet! Please be aware that changes may occur due to curriculum resources and staffing availability. Class selection form gathers interest, and we cannot guarantee that all elective classes will be offered next year.
 
We would like to determine student interest level in elective choices in order to plan staffing and course offering. The Elective selection forms for 7th and 8th grade can be found on the right along with course catalog. Please fill out the form with your student. Clearly print student's name on top, choose your top 5 elective courses, and add parent and student signatures. Return the form to your homeroom teacher on Friday April 17th through Google Drive Classroom.
New students can return the form to Ms. Kate Denisevich  in person or via email kdenisevich@rocklinacademy.org.

If for some reason the student is not returning to Gateway, please indicate that on the Class Selection Sheet and turn it in as well. We will still need parent confirmation through the School Mint account.
