Hello, my name is Karin Georgeson, and I am proud to be entering my 6th year teaching physical education at Rocklin Academy Gateway. My team and I are excited to work with students at Gateway to promote healthy activity, wellness, and FUN this year in PE. We are committed to providing a safe environment for our students to grow in areas of health, athletics, fitness, rhythm & movement, and much more.

 

I grew up in Minnesota and graduated with a bachelor of science in business management and psychology from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. I moved to Rocklin 22 years ago, earned my preliminary multiple subject teaching credential in 2003, and my physical education credential in 2021. My husband and I have three boys aged 26, 20, and 15. They keep us busy at the soccer fields, biking, hiking, and swimming in our backyard pool. We love Rocklin and enjoy the sense of community we have felt while raising our family.

 

I enjoy reading and writing as a hobby, and I love being active and healthy. I look forward to working with my students and helping them foster a love for lifelong health and fitness.
