Hello Rocklin Academy Gateway Families! My name is Krisi Boyle, and I am very excited to be teaching at Rocklin Academy Gateway for my tenth year! I am looking forward to another wonderful year in kindergarten!  My love for working with young students has kept me in the field of education for over 30 years.

 

 

I graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development. I worked in the early childhood education field for over 20 years as a preschool teacher, supervisor, and mentor. I also spent several hours volunteering in elementary school classrooms for my sons’ teachers. Most recently, I earned my master’s degree and CA multiple-subject teaching credential from the University of Phoenix.

 

 

I have taught first grade, transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, and have been a substitute teacher in many classrooms and grade levels. Each day that I teach, I look forward to learning something new from my students. Young students, especially, amaze me with their wonder, curiosity, and eagerness to learn!

 

 

I have been married for 27 years and have three amazing sons, ages 26, 24, and 18, and have two beautiful granddaughters.  I am a proud Army mom, as my oldest is serving in the U.S Military.  My middle son recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.  My youngest is attending community college.  We enjoy camping, day visits to Folsom Lake, and simply enjoying the rare moments when all boys are home together!
