Hi!  My name is Shannon Lang and this is my eighth year teaching 5th grade at Rocklin Academy Gateway. I have been teaching for 13 years in grades 1st, 3rd, and 5th and have loved every minute of it! I am a very passionate teacher and love working collaboratively with my students, parents, and colleagues.

 

I received my BA in organizational communications from California State, Sacramento. I then received my multiple subjects credential from Chapman University.

 

I live in Roseville with my husband Brandon of 12 years, and our two handsome sons, Henry, who is in third grade, and Jack, who is in fifth grade at Rocklin Academy Gateway, too. We are very active and love being out and about. We are often at parks, on biking trails, and enjoy taking part in community events. We also love skiing in Tahoe in the winter. I am an avid reader and enjoy movies.
